Regarding all the stupid IOI fans...
Thinking about all the BS that was said, without thought and no filtering, when Blackpink won ROY at MMA...it really made me want to give you a taste of your own medicine when IOI won ROY at MAMA ㅋㅋ
Starting from all nonsense about digital scores on Melon and Gaon (even though Melon hadn't even released the statistics), calling them 'SoonShilPink'/'ManipulationPink', being racist towards Lisa, dissing them and all those close to them, saying inappropriate words, etc....I can still remember all those very clearly. No thanks to you, I doubt Blackpink will ever be able to forget those words ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Even though there had been numerous attempts at explaining things, since IOI's Korean fandom is larger and you all refused to see or listen to reason, I won't even try to go into all the details ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I just hope you know that MMA observes statistics from the Melon chart (70%) and voting (30%) for determining ROY, sales from IOI's 'Very Very Very' and Blackpink's 'Playing with Fire aren't included and all of IOI's songs, with the exception of 'Very Very Very', have dropped out of the chart while Blackpink's 'Whistle' and 'Boombayah' are still ranking~
Think seriously about whether the trophy should've gone to Blackpink, who's ranking first on daily/weekly/monthly charts and have songs that came out in August still ranking, or to IOI, who's only song that's still ranking is 'Very Very Very'
Like you all said, Blackpink's Korean fandom is ve~~~~~~ry small compared to IOI and yet they have much better digital scores...shouldn't that give you an answer already?
Anyways, I saw so many of you complaining, "why did we even vote~~" so how do you think we feel about MAMA's votes ㅋㅋㅋ
If you look at the screenshot below, combining the votes from international fans, the difference in votes is much greater than 10 million ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ While with Melon, you beat us with a difference much smaller than 10 million
I bet you'd really feel good if Blackpink fans did the same thing IOI fans did and flood articles with comments like "why did we even vote~~~", amrite?
You do realize that the number of views for 'Boombayah' alone is greater than everything IOI has released combined?
Should we also nitpick at all these factors and bring it up to MAMA?
Blackpink winning ROY at MMA is due to manipulation and the company while IOI winning ROY at MAMA is the ultimate truth? What kind of logic ㅋㅋㅋㅋ? YG pressuring Melon doesn't make sense ㅋㅋㅋㅋ And if you want to talk "benefits of the company" IOI is no different ㅋㅋㅋㅋ They're Mnet's daughters so of course they'd receive the award ㅋㅋㅋ IOI fans, this is also considered "benefits of the company" ㅋㅋㅋ Votes and digital sales combined, Blackpink logically deserved the win, even without the "company benefits"
Put yourself in other people's shoes
As a fan, I get mad thinking about all the swearing they had to put up with; think about how much worse it'd be for Blackpink

- When BTS won Inkigayo, this fandom made such a fuss and created some BS,
making Inkigayo step in and reveal the scores....resulting in Armies grinding
them to dust. This fandom's stupidity is a wall. I mean they'd even attack
male idol fandoms, so they probably look down on Blackpink's smaller
Korean fandom. You should know that your behaviors reflect poorly on your
bias group. Isn't it self-explanatory when a song that came out in August is
25th on the charts? You think that it's good reasoning to talk about the total
sales of all the songs combined, songs that no one can even remember when
they dropped from charting, beating the sales of 'Boombayah' and 'Whistle'?
If you put it that way, all the other artists deserve the award as well. All
they'd need to do is release a lot of songs. They can just push through with
quantity and not quality. Will you come to your senses once the chart rank
for 2016 is officially released. Even the difference in MV views are very
different. Blackpink also won at AAA. The difference in the number of
votes was huge, as IOI doesn't seem to have many international fans. You'll
probably act as though it's the divine truth if IOI wins and act like things are
manipulated if Blackpink wins. If IOI were to win, at the very least,
Blackpink fans wouldn't be complaining about it being "undeserved" like
you all did. Seriously, if you treasure you bias, you should understand that
it's the same for fans of other groups. Why do you fall to such disgusting
fan habits.
Melon
Real time chart: Counts once from every IP address per hour
Daily chart: Counts once from every IP address per day
Monthly chart: Takes the total from the daily chart
But taking into consideration the difference in Gaon, that counts streaming, the difference would be that much greater on Melon's Daily chart, that counts once every IP address.
And the voting?
30% of determining ROY for MMA are the votes. You were at 49% while Blackpink was at 14%, making a difference of 35%. But because it wasn't just these two groups, if you were to look at the rates, of the 30% that is the criteria, you can look at it as IOI taking around 15% of it.
But the 70% for digital sales, Blackpink taking even half of that, would ensure them winning, even if they were to have 0% in the votes.
Because Melon and Gaon use different statistics, let's just look at Melon
Placing first for 2 weeks on the daily chart, placing first on the monthly chart and ranking in the top 30 in daily and monthly charts for 3 months, why wouldn't Blackpink deserve the award.
